Our story, our mission and our vision for a better Tanzania

There is low public awareness about pandemics and zoonotic diseases, which increases the risk of disease outbreaks affecting both people and animals.

Poor waste management and hazardous material disposal continue to threaten environmental safety and public health.

Socially, the community struggles with human rights violations, gender inequality; family-related issues, and corruption, which weaken social justice and development. On the animal welfare side, there is a lack of protection and humane treatment of animals, with many domesticated and non-domesticated animals suffering neglect, cruelty, and exploitation.

Education on humane values is not fully integrated in schools, leaving children and youth less informed about animal welfare and environmental conservation

Advocates of promotion of issues of human rights, family, gender rights , disabilities and promotes war against corruption.

To ensure protection and humane treatment of all domesticated and none domesticated animals

To promote humane education from primary school to tertiary level

To promote accessibility of animal clinics to poor families in need in rural areas

To enhance animal shelter and animal sanctuary/pound.

To enhance Spay and Neuter for stray dogs and cats

GABRIEL MTANYI

FOUNDER

Driven by an unwavering belief that the fates of humans, animals, and the earth are deeply intertwined, our founder established this organization as a sanctuary for the vulnerable and a voice for the voiceless. With decades of grassroots experience on the front lines of conservation and animal rescue, their vision was born from a simple yet profound realization: true healing cannot happen in isolation.

What began as a grassroots effort to rescue abandoned animals and protect local green spaces has blossomed into a holistic movement, all guided by the founder’s relentless compassion, strategic leadership, and hands-on dedication. Whether coordinating emergency wildlife responses in the field or mentoring the next generation of environmental stewards, they lead with fierce empathy and an unshakeable commitment to systemic change.
